Ok, so of course we love flowers and are so happy to see that spring blooms are sporadically popping up around town (in Mobile). First, it was the Japanese magnolias, then, some Crepe Myrtles. Now, cherry trees, red bud trees and pretty, yellow jasmine blooms are all coming and going! I love the blasts of color along the sidewalks of midtown and in the tree line of the highways that come from these beauties. If only everyone would grow blooming plants in their yards, this town would be an explosion of spring colors!
Luckily, after the spring blooms have come and grown into green leaves, the floral revival will keep on blooming in the forms of Denim, Blouses and perfectly prissy dresses! That’s right – Florals are HUGE for Spring and Summer (imagine that) and we couldn’t be more pleased! How to wear them is the question? These ain’t yo granny’s floras! They are modern, vintage, colorful and brilliant! Some will fear them and some will flaunt them. What will you do? Don’t be afraid! We’re here for you and will give you some tips so you can be the belle of the bloom this season!
First, from the runway:
Some beautiful… some a little wallpapery. We’re not going to lie.. Florals for Spring isn’t really that revolutionary, but we love the ready-to-wear options! Mix the floraly pieces with edgier pieces or prep it up with classic blazers, structured trousers and pencil skirts! Anchor them with neutral pieces or go all out and pair one floral with another one! Have fun or be more traditiona. — the choice is yours!
Ready To Wear:
And stay tuned because Polish will soon have florals online as well as in stores! Until then, enjoy our new merchandise that we’ve recently loaded online in an array of sherbet-like hues!
